Jay Ruzicka’s mind spurred the idea of The Everything Film Show a little more than a couple of years ago along with Jeff Burns and Mark Pezzula. This was quite an amazing feat when you consider that Jay was thirteen years old at the time (legal edit: Jay was 22 at the time). Jay confounds us every week with poetically nonsensical mispronunciations of guest’s names and movie titles, stories about juicing and pumping iron at Gold’s Gym and his never ending love for terrible movies like “Freddie Got Fingered”. Jay is also known well known for liking cheesy horror films, his disdain of certain lead actresses and his unconditional love for all things Sam Raimi. As a filmmaker, Jay has dazzled us with harrowing renditions of a a trio of dudes getting killed in a forest in 2008, a couple getting killed in a forest vacation home in 2009 and a creepy dude getting killed in a city in 2010… notice a pattern here? Regardless of these minor… eccentricities… all of us in the show value his contributions.

Mark is a perfect co-host for The Everything Film Show because he sits around all day in his underwear watching movies, many of which no one has ever heard of. When he’s not ruining Jay and Jeff’s films with his horrible acting, he writes blogs that no one reads except his family. He’s in bed every night by 7:00 p.m. and before sleepy-time likes watching sensible movies like Driving Miss Daisy and On Golden Pond. He loves to talk about Ridley Scott. Like every single show. Fortunately, it’s not as annoying as how often Juan brings up The Tudors. All of our former female guests (and a few male guests) have restraining orders against Mark. Oh, and he’s still a virgin.

Juan is from Mexico City and therefore is able to speak spanish although none of us know what he is saying. Normally he speaks english though and it sucks because it’s usually about a chick flick he likes. I swear there is a teenage girl inside him which causes this. We raised money to perform an exorcism but I ended up spending it on baseball cards. I was looking for a good rookie card but all I got was some guy from the Pittsburgh Pirates organization. Such a waste of money. No one likes the Pirates. The Pirates don’t even like the Pirates. That being said we all love Juan. Juan is also our tech guy so we can’t let anything to happen to him. If something were to happen to Juan we would have to teach Mark to edit and upload shows and that would involve Mark staying awake and sober. Juan is also a pretty good filmmaker and you can see his films on youtube. Just type in “Juan” or something.
